HVAC warranty
Most furnaces and ACs come with a 10-year parts warranty + 1-year labour. Heat exchangers often have lifetime coverage.
Standard residential HVAC warranties from major manufacturers (Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Bryant, Goodman):
- Parts: 10 years (typical, on registered installs)
- Heat exchanger: lifetime (furnace) or 12-year (some models)
- Compressor: 10 years (AC and heat pumps)
- Labour: 1 year from manufacturer; can be extended via the contractor
Registration is critical. If the install isn't registered with the manufacturer within 60–90 days, the warranty can drop to 5 years parts. We register every install on the homeowner's behalf and email confirmation.
