Technical Standards and Safety Authority — Ontario's gas-and-fuels regulator. Required for all gas work.
Anyone working on natural gas equipment in Ontario must hold a TSSA Fuels Safety license (G1, G2, or G3 depending on scope). Our owner holds G2 + F/S-licensed contractor (F/S-7864-0125) — the credential to work on residential and commercial gas systems.
When hiring an HVAC contractor in Ontario, the TSSA license number should be on every quote and invoice. If a contractor can't provide one, walk away — gas work without a license is illegal AND your insurer can deny claims if a problem arises.
