Ductwork

The network of metal or flex tubes that carries conditioned air through your home.

Most GTA homes have a mix of sheet-metal trunk lines and flex (insulated plastic) branch ducts. Sheet metal is the long-lived backbone; flex is the cheap, easy connector to individual registers.

Ductwork problems we see daily:
- Undersized returns (1990s builds especially)
- Long flex runs with sharp bends
- Disconnected duct fittings in attics
- Uninsulated ducts in unconditioned spaces

Sealing duct leaks and right-sizing returns is one of the highest-ROI HVAC improvements. We measure static pressure and recommend specific changes — not a full duct redesign unless it's actually warranted.
