Zoning

Splitting your house into separate temperature zones, each with its own thermostat and dampers.

Zoning lets you heat or cool different parts of the house independently. Useful when:
- You have a 2-storey home where the upstairs is hot in summer
- Bedrooms over the garage run cold
- You want different temperatures in the office vs the living room

A basic 2-zone retrofit in an existing duct system: $2,500–$4,000 installed. Includes a control panel, motorized dampers, a second thermostat, and a static-pressure bypass.

Not every home is a good zoning candidate. Short duct trunks and limited damper locations make some retrofits awkward. We assess on-site before quoting.
